Introduction
This programme is specially designed to cater to the needs of the tourism industry and interested public in acquiring skills for identifying Bornean biodiversity of plant and animal species and their functions. The programme emphasises the narrative of natural science knowledge which is crucial in attracting local and foreign tourists especially the Bio-knowledgeable vacationers. Upon successful completion of the programme, students will be granted a Professional and Executive Programme in Biodiversity Tourism (Level 3). The Programme offers six modules consisting of Plant Systematics, Animal Diversity, Aquatic Vertebrates, Biodiversity Identification Technique, Wildlife Photography and Evolution: Walking the Wallace Trail in Borneo.
