OVERVIEW
The implementation of Lifelong Learning (LLL) has been cascaded down from the Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE) to universities including UNIMAS to make LLL accessible to targeted groups. LLL is about acquiring and updating skills, interests, knowledge and qualifications from preschool years to post-retirement and it provides a ‘second chance’ to those who have not been able to experience the opportunity to pursue tertiary education.
UBS has built numerous networking and collaborations with its Strategic Partners to offer Professional & Executive Programmes (PEPs), specially designed for targeted segments. Although the programmes are not accredited by Malaysian Qualification Agency (MQA), quality and consistency is well maintained and prioritized. PEPs promotes the development of human potential through a continuously supportive process that stimulates and empowers individuals to acquire the knowledge, values, skills and understanding and to apply these with confidence, creativity and enjoyment in diverse roles, circumstances and environments. The successful execution of the PEPs has gained recognition from industry players leading to the prestigious Best Business School Award during the Malaysia Education & TVET Awards ceremony in 2023.
